Fard Ghaderi will represent Iran with his two short and feature movies, Story of A Rainy Night and Immortality, respectively, at the Croatian event.
One Take is an international festival of films shot in one take. It includes films of nearly all genres (documentary, fiction, experimental, music video and corporate), regardless of their length.
Immortality is Fard Ghaderi's first feature movie that displays events occurring in a rainy night in the train. The film is the story of six different families on different wagons of a train, which is told by time.
Fard Ghaderi's other film, Story of a Rainy Night, narrates the story of an old man whose birthday is affected by the arrival of his family.
The 24-minute film has so far attended various international film festivals winning various prizes, including the Best Short Film Award in the US Hollywood Festival of New Cinema and Ohio’s Colony Film Festival, and the Best Short Film category of San Pedro International Film Festival.
One Take Film Festival will kick off on October 21 in Croatia, and will wrap up on October 23.
