THERAN, Sep. 22 (MNA) – JCPOA Follow-up Committee has said banking cooperation and the EU and US laxity in failing to provide necessary guarantees will constitute the major topic in the joint commission.

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi who is in Mr. Rouhani’s entourage in New York, told reporters on Wednesday that the 5th JCPOA Joint Commission will met in ministerial level to address JCPOA-related issues on Thursday. “The commission will meet for the first time after the implementation of JCPOA at ministerial level; an introductory deputy level meeting addressed nuclear issues as well as sanctions; Arak heavy water reactor, sales of heavy water, the conduct of the nuclear fuel workgroup, and cooperation with Russia in Fordow, also provided the commission with topics to discuss,” he detailed. “On Sanctions, the EU and US laxity to effectively address the banking issues and also financial difficulties firms face in transactions with Iran were also discussed,” Araghchi added.

“US procrastination of delivery of civilian passenger jets by Airbus and Boeing also was a topic where US officials confirmed that the government had issues necessary permits with other permits still waiting to be issued; in Thursday session, a conclusion draft of the Wednesday meeting will be presented to ministers for further discussions,” Araghchi told reporters.
