TEHRAN, Sep. 15 (MNA) – Amir Toudeh Roosta’s ‘Lay My Bed in the Room’ documentary film, has harvested Juries Prize and been accepted to be displayed in international film festivals.

The first film festival is Festival Silhouette in Paris August 26-September 03 which features 40 short fiction and animated movies. Iran’s participant in the event is ‘Lay My Bed in the Room’ by Amir Todeh Roosta, screened in 9 o’clock Paris time on August 26 to bag the Juries’ Prize as the film’s international success.

Parinaz Izadyar, Shadi Karamroudi, and Mohammad Sadeghi are among the notables of the crew. ‘Lay My Bed in the Room’ is a product of The Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC).

Mourning the loss of a young lad, the family reunites with a bride of the family and a brother-in-law in a quite post-funeral grief. The film is narrated, though indirectly by little girl of the family who had been witnessing all events from her innocent eyes.
