RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 14 (MNA) – Japanese ascending to final of 59kg has given Hamid Sourian second chance to wrestle in group to revive hopes for a possible bronze in the category.

Sourian was defeated by Ota in the first round. Now with Ota going to final round, Sourian finds a chance to fight for bronze medal. This was a fortuitous event for Iran’s much hopeful wrestler in Greco-Roman to keep a dim hope for bronze. Sourian’s route to bronze however will bring him with no easy rivals from Kazakhstan, Norway and Republic of Azerbaijan.
