TEHRAN, Jul. 28 (MNA) – Foreign Ministry spokesperson categorically condemned, on Thursday, the terrorist attack to Syrian city of Qamishli. The twin truck blasts claimed the lives of around 50 civilians on Wednesday.

Bahram Ghasemi, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, told the media in his official reaction to the terrorist attack to the Syrian city of Qamishli that the foreign ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned the act of terror which claimed the lives of civilian Syrians. The diplomat offered official condolences for the event.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stressed that the feeding routes to the terrorists who are developing from Wahhabism and extremism should be cut to overcome the terror crisis in the region,” said the spokesperson regretting that the acts are ‘unfairly contributed to Islam’ and urging for an international unanimity for barring the logistic, financial, and arm supply to terrorists.
