TEHRAN, Mar. 09 (MNA) – Britain Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills Sajid Javid will visit Iran in May as reported by Financial Times.

Accordingly, Sajid Javid, the second Muslim member of the British Cabinet, is scheduled to lead Britain’s biggest-ever trade mission to Iran in May to take advantage of the recent lifting of sanctions against Tehran.

There will be executives on the trip from across the oil and gas, financial services, infrastructure and engineering sectors, reported Financial Times.

Iran’s nuclear deal with the 5+1 group of countries led to the reopening of the British embassy in Tehran last August with the attendance of Philip Hammond to become the first foreign secretary to visit Iran since 2003.
