Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani who was addressing a meeting of Judiciary high-ranking officials on Monday, said that JCPOA had a very long and difficult road to success; “however, the end of the road was excellent outcomes achieved through national will and resistance against world powers,” he added. “The Leader of the Islamic Revolution has been closely watching the nuclear negotiations not to allow a deviation of the negotiations from Revolutionary path; President Rouhani’s efforts are also laudable; he led the negotiations with perseverance in the face of harsh criticism,” Amoli Larijani told the meeting, extending his eulogy for the nation who “had patiently withstood the difficulties and suffering of the economic sanctions to advance the nuclear negotiations."
“Now, the powers who once thought to subdue Iranians without allowing even a single point through sanctions, would admit their miscalculation, since our nation did not succumb to these pressures; the Islamic Republic of Iran had concessions and received in return some points; a fair assessment of the situation should be a realistic view of the two sides, losses and gains; only after that would we see that the outcomes and gains have been valuable and rationally justified,” Amoli Larijani emphasized.
On the critics of the nuclear negotiations, the Judiciary head believed that, as president had famously said before, “they did play a role in reaching to a positive outcome through criticism and exposing the weaknesses of the negotiations as well.”
He also called all foreign and domestic investors to rely on the Judiciary’s support; “economic security of investors is an important part of the economic process; investment entails security and all government branches and bodies especially the Judiciary should attend their inherent duties of improving the situation to boost production and job creation to bring a sort of flourishing to country’s hard-hit economy,” he concluded.
