TEHRAN, Jan. 10 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, while slamming Saudis' antagonist acts, said Iran has always dealt with patience regarding naive and inappropriate Saudi approaches.

Pursuing bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments with Chinese deputy FM, Zarif said Iran and China enjoy a wide range of commonalities by nature in many issues, which are different from their ties with other countries.

"In the post-sanctions era, the two countries will continue their firm and expanding relations and cooperation," he said during a meeting with visiting Chinese Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for West Asia and North Africa Zhang Ming on Saturday.

Expressing satisfaction with China's constructive role in different stages of Iran-5+1 nuclear talks and Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Zarif said the upcoming visit by China's President Xi Jinping to Iran will definitely lead to positive results to build foundations of comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries.

Zhang Ming, while stressing that the relations between the two countries are growing, said China, very pleased with JCPOA, is ready to deepen ties with the Islamic Republic regarding many issues of interest.

He underlined that China's president's future visit to Iran after 14 years will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the two counties' relations and this will be his first foreign visit in 2016.

Pointing to Iran and Saudi Arabia's key role in the regional developments, Chinese official said Tehran's stance on its foreign policy is of rationalistic nature and Beijing is pursuing the same policy to establish peace and stability in the international scene.
