TEHRAN, Dec. 18 (MNA) – After the final resolution of IAEA’s Board of Governors, Director of Iran’s AEOI Salehi and IAEA Director General Amano had a phone dialogue on Thursday.

Director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi and Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano discussed the ways to put into practice the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in a phone conversation on Thursday morning.

Amano greeted Salehi for the closure of Iran’s so-called PMD case after IAEA’s Board of Governors decided to close the case related to the so-called possible military dimensions of Iran’s nuclear program to terminate 12 resolutions against Tehran.

The decision was made by the governing board of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Tuesday.

During the phone conversation, Amano voiced hope that the measures would be taken in a way to ensure implementing the JCPOA in fortnight.

Also Salehi demanded Amano to be more cooperative in the coming steps of the pre-planned roadmap.

The two sides, moreover, exchanged ideas on the next phases of the JCPOA to be put into practice.

The closing resolution was submitted by the 5+1 group of countries on December 7 and the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) passed the draft resolution by consensus on December 15.
