MOSCOW, Oct. 20 (MNA) – Russia and the United States are preparing other diplomatic meeting in order to discuss the situation in Syria and the possibilities of cooperation, announced on Monday the spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova.

Zakharova said to the Rossiya-24 television channel that the exact date and place of the next meeting is being elected. The meeting must take place before the weekend, according to the source.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that the US counterpart had requested a meeting about the Syrian crisis, which is under consultation, said without giving details.

Zakharova reiterated Moscow's willingness 'to any dialogue'. Russia is interested in face to face contacts by experts to achieve a solution of questions related to the settlement of the Syrian conflict, stressed Zakharova.

TASS news agency, according to diplomatic sources, reported that a meeting between foreign ministers of Russia, the United States and Saudi Arabia could be held in the coming days in Vienna.

So far, Moscow and Washington are keeping the channel opened by the heads of diplomacy Sergey Lavrov and John Kerry, in addition to the interaction of military experts, although the Pentagon has not agreed to an exchange of information and intelligence on the location of terrorists in Syria.
