Hadi Ghavami, who represents Isfarayen constituency in the Parliament, told its public session on Sunday morning that “if my colleagues read the criterion of the Article 44 of the Constitution more patiently, we would have a better economic situation today enjoying less reliance on other countries.” He was speaking for the Bill ‘Iranian Government Reciprocal and Proportional Action.’
Emphasizing the need for collaboration between the government and the Parliament, he underlined the necessity that “even the opponents of this plan think for the national interests of the country, still we need more compassion and sympathy.”
Bahlul Hoseini, who represents Mianeh constituency, also spoke for the proposed bill, stating that “we need to consider ideals as well as realities in dealing with internal and external issues and by adopting the general aspects of this plan, we must set a framework for the implementation of JCPOA.”
Deeming the main goal of negotiations as the removal of sanctions, Hosseini emphasized that we should not oppose JCPOA in the Parliament.
He further appreciated the efforts of the Foreign Ministry, adding that “negotiations follow certain rules, specific to each negotiating side, who looks for more concessions by the other side; however, the best outcome would be a win-win situation.”
The MP further noted that some members of the Parliament rejected JCPOA as if they knew less costly ways to solve the problems.
