The official website of Iran’s Parliament released the text of a message by Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani in which he urged the immediate formation of fact-finding committees by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUOICMS).
Offering condolences to his Muslim counterparts, the Iranian official referred to the two tragic events in this year's Hajj rituals as sources of great waves of grief among Muslims all over the world.
He added that the incidents and the mismanagement conducted by the Saudi officials were against God’s will for Mecca as the city of safety.
"Undoubtedly the responsibility of this grieving event is on the shoulder of the Saudi Kingdom who has to respond to the people of the Muslim countries without puting blames on others," Larijani stressed in his message.
