‘US dream of inspecting Iran’s military sites, never to come true’

‘US dream of inspecting Iran’s military sites, never to come true’

TEHRAN, Aug. 29 (MNA) – The former Iranian foreign minister says that Iran would never give in the Americans to find the chance to inspect Iranian military sites through the IAEA.

“The recent events mark the win streak of Iran and its allies in the region,” said Ali Akbar Velayati, Iranian Leader's senior adviser, on Tuesday, touching upon the recent events in the region.

“The second largest city in Iraq, Mosul, was liberated from the enemies, despite enemies’ predictions,” asserted the veteran diplomat who acted as Iran’s FM for 26 years from1981 to 1977, “Now the city is in the hand of Iraqi people and legitimate government.”

He underlined that the same thing happened about Tal Afar where the opponents of the Iraqi nation and government tied their hopes to. He also said, “we are witnessing a kind of disintegration among the enemies of the region and US mercenaries, the main supporters of terrorism.”

“We see that those saying that the legitimate government of Syria should be changed are now seeking to cooperate with Assad’s legal government,” asserted the Iranian senior official, “the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its support for the resistance chain of the countries.”

“The Americans will take this dream to their graves,” said Mr. Velayati referring to Haley’s efforts to convince IAEA to put Iran under pressure to surrender to inspection of military sites, “they would never be permitted to inspect our military sites and venues, under the excuse of the JCPOA or any other excuse.”

“The Islamic Republic of Iran would never let in the inspection of sensitive places,” said the official describing Iran as the axis of resistance in the region.
