The festival aims to encourage the youth to participate in recreational competitions and to promote the intellectual and mental capability of the participants, said Mokhtar Qaffari, director of the festival.
"No doubt that participation of children has many positive educational advantages," Qaffari said.
“Those interested to take part in the festival can design and make kites in colorful and beautiful shapes. They can make the kite at home or in the festival center in which they are provided with required materials and equipments,” added the director.
The beauty and the height of elevation are among the criteria for choosing the prize winner, he noted.
The center is located on Shahid Mahallati Highway
