According to MNA, Maduro with 50.6% of the vote have defeated his opponent, Henrique Capriles Radonski, who got 49.1 percent of the votes. Maduro received 300,000 more votes than Capriles.
Some reported that while Capriles have not yet responded to the official results, and it has not accepted defeat; Maduro election campaign officials are asking supporters to gather in front of the presidential palace.
The new Venezuela’s president is supposed sworn in as the new president on Friday this week.
Maduro will serve as Venezuelan President until 2019, so he can finish the remainder of Chavez six years presidency term as president
