“Rooster Trademark Paper” wins special prize at Chicago filmfest

TEHRAN, Nov. 7 (MNA) -- “The Rooster Trademark Paper” by the Iranian director Maryam Milani won a special prize at the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.

The film won the Liv Ullmann Peace Prize at the festival, which was held from October 12 to 25.

The prize is given to the film that positively addresses difficult topics for children, such as racism, prejudice and abuse, and conservation of the planet.

“The Rooster Trademark Paper” is about the efforts that three children from underprivileged families make to achieve their dreams.

The 2012 Best of Fest Award of the festival went to Remi Bezanson from France for the film “Zarafa”.
