Canada closes visa section of its embassy in Tehran

In a statement on its website, the Canadian Embassy said that visa services for Iran have been transferred to the Canadian Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.

The embassy statement said that the closure was decided by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Department, which regularly “explores ways of doing business more effectively and efficiently.”
