Iran’s ambassador meets Georgian economy minister

BAKU, June 6 (MNA) -- Iranian ambassador to Tbilisi met Georgian economic development minister on Saturday and discussed ways to enhance economic relations between the two nations.

 Majid Saber and Zurab Pololikashvili, who is also head of the Georgian side of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission with Iran, reviewed economic and commercial ties.

 The next Joint Economic Cooperation Commission of Iran and Georgia which will soon be held in Tehran was the major issue touched upon in the meet.

 Pololikashvili is Georgia’s director of tourism affairs as well and noted that he had invited the Iranian vice president in charge of Iran’s Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization to visit Georgia in the upcoming future.
