Iran’s war games in Sea of Oman, Strait of Hormuz

BANDAR ABBAS, Iran, May 9 (MNA) -- The Iranian Navy and Air Force are conducting war games in the Sea of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz. The eight-day maneuver, which started on May 5, covers a span of about 250,000 square kilometers from the Strait of Hormuz to the northern Indian Ocean. Navy destroyers, missile launchers, heavy and light submarines, and flight units are used to provide security for the shipping lines.
