The main female character in her novel is trying to find answers to the questions she keeps asking in search of her identity.
“The book narrates the search of the woman in relation with her family, city and society in the form of the question she asks, “Where is my bird?”, said the author.
Fariba Vafi has been writing since 1983, and published her first story in 1996. Her second book, published in 2001, was called “Even When We Laugh”. Her new novel is due to appear on bookshelves in the near future.
