The book is a true life story of a teenager who experienced the early days of the war in Khorramshahr. The memoirs were penned by a capable author and this makes the book interesting for readers, he said.
“Da” changed the world view of readers. It mirrors the calamities of the Iranian people during the war and she decided to express them for the younger generation of Iranians who may overlook the dedication of their fellow countrymen in those years, he added.
“Previously, we introduced books on Sacred Defense just to war veterans but we decided to introduce “Da” to others including artists, cineastes and scholars and that lead to a good result,” he mentioned.
The book, released recently by Sureh-Mehr publications, is one of the publisher’s bestsellers.
In the dialect of Khorramshahr “da” means “mother”.
