Haddad-Adel, invited by his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Fathi Sorour, is scheduled to address the conference and meet some scholars in his four-day visit.
The latest developments in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq would top the agenda of the two-day conference which starts on Wednesday, IRNA news agency reported.
“Haddad-Adel’s visit is considered an international trip and is not within the framework of mutual relations with Egypt, however, he will meet some Egyptian officials,” Kazem Jalali, the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee spokesman, said on Monday who is now in Cairo.
Following an invitation by Sudanese Parliament Speaker Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Taher, Haddad-Adel will also have a three-day visit to Khartoum.
In Sudan, he will meet high ranking officials, including the Sudanese president, vice presidents, foreign minister, and scholars.
