The prosecutor general of Qazvin Province where Takestan is located, said two motorcyclists on a motorcycle used shotguns to shoot at the vehicle carrying Bigdali, were arrested on Friday as the perpetrators.
He added that the attack was not a terrorist attack, adding that the investigations were going on.
He said that the MP was unharmed in the failed assassination attempt.
