He, who is a representative of the Loyalty to the Resistance Faction in the Lebanese Parliament, stated, “In the recent war, the Zionist enemy intended to occupy the southern villages and towns of Lebanon, and at least sought to occupy the southern Litani River and expel its people, dominate the region, and finally settle there, but the steadfastness of the Resistance Movement thwarted the goals of Israeli invasion and prevented southern Lebanon from being occupied.”
The Israeli attacks on civilians and Lebanese infrastructures are carried out in order to pressure its people, especially in the southern part, into forced displacement and surrender, he stressed.
Fadlallah emphasized that there is a continuous war ongoing against the southern part and its people, aimed at preventing the reconstruction and return of people, and this war will be confronted with utmost strength and power.
