Iraq reacts to Netanyahu’s threats against its citizens

TEHRAN, Sep. 26 (MNA) – Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has strongly rejected threats made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to attack Resistance groups in Iraq.

Speaking on Friday, Hussein stated, "We condemn Netanyahu’s statements and assert that any attack on an Iraqi citizen is an attack on Iraq itself."

The Iraqi minister emphasized that targeting any individual Iraqi would be considered an act of aggression against the country as a whole.

Meanwhile, Hebrew sources claim that Netanyahu is reportedly planning the assassination of leaders of Iraqi resistance groups and the destruction of their bases in the near future.

Earlier today, Netanyahu, in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, explicitly threatened Iraqi resistance groups with military action.
