As insecurity continues in Syria following the toppling of President Bashar Assad, three people were killed and 20 others injured in an explosion in the Syria's eastern Deir el-Zor region, the state news agency reported on Monday, according to Reuters.
The report said the reason behind the explosion was unknown.
Later, other Syrian media said that the blast occurred in the city of Bu Kamal on the Iraqi border.
