Speaking during a ceremony on Sunday, Major General Hossein Salami said that Iran has grown immune against the pressures and sanctions, stressing that all the enemies' attempt to isolate Tehran on the international stage have failed.
"Didn't they want us to be isolated in the world. Can you call Iran an isolated country today?" said Salami.
The IRGC commander further noted that "High-ranking delegations came from 63 countries for the funeral of the martyred president, and in the United Nations, everyone stood and observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to this martyr. Is this Iran an isolated country?!"
"Iran has a direct impact on the political equations in the world and the region," he underscored, adding that, "Can any issue be solved without Iran? Can energy security be guaranteed without Iran? Can anyone talk of political tranquility in the region without Iran possible?
