Yemen targets US, Israeli ships in Gulf of Aden

TEHRAN, Apr. 11 (MNA) – The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree on Wednesday announced that the Yemeni forces have conducted 4 operations against the US and Israeli ships in the Gulf of Aden.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Wednesday the successful execution of four military operations.

In a televised statement, Saree clarified that the naval forces carried out an operation targeting two ships named “MSC GINA, MSC DARWIN” in the Gulf of Aden.

The American ship "MAERSK YORKTOWN" was targeted in the Gulf of Aden, as well as an American warship in the Gulf of Aden, by a number of drones, Almasirah reported.

The Yemeni Armed Forces indicated that the targeting operation was carried out using a number of naval missiles and drones, and they claim the operation successfully achieved its objectives.

The statement pointed out that the drone air force carried out two military operations targeting a number of American warships in the Red Sea.

Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7 after the territory’s Palestinian Resistance movements carried out a surprise retaliatory attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.

Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until unrelenting Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza, which have killed at least 27,948 people and wounded another 67,459 individuals, come to an end.

The United States and Britain in December announced a military coalition to target Yemen in support of Israel.
