Another Palestinian journalist killed by Israeli army in Gaza

TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) – A Palestinian journalist was killed Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on his home in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS).

PJS identified the journalist as Sari Mansour, who was killed in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, Anadolu Agency reported.

The group said earlier Saturday that journalist and political analyst Mustafa al-Sawwaf was also killed, along with several family members in an Israeli airstrike on his home in Gaza City.

It added that two of al-Sawwaf’s sons were critically injured in the attack and identified them as Montaser, a contracting photographer for Anadolu, and Mohammad, a filmmaker.

PJS noted that the death toll for Palestinian journalists by the Israeli army since Oct. 7 has jumped to 79, in addition to 29 who have been detained.

Tel Aviv waged the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas carried out the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in retaliation for intensified Israeli crimes against Palestinians.

According to the Palestinian authorities, at least 11,500 Palestinians, including over 5,000 children and 3,300 women, have been killed and over 30,000 others injured in the Israeli strikes.
