Several drones reportedly hit US base in Syria

TEHRAN, Oct. 28 (MNA) – Some Syrian sources on Friday night reported that the sound of several explosions was heard from the US base in the country's Kharab al-Jir village.

Some sources say that several drones attacked the US base and the defense system was not able to shoot them down.

Meanwhile, local sources in Syria's Deir ez-Zur province reported that several explosions were heard at the US military base in the Al-Omar oil field.

On Wednesday, an Iraqi Resistance group announced that it had targeted a US base in northeast Syria. The US base in Syria's Kharab al-Jir village came under a missile attack by Iraqi Resistance forces early Wednesday. A sound of explosion was heard from inside the US base which is located on the border between Iraq and Syria.

In reaction to US support for the Israeli regime in the Gaza war, the Iraqi Resistance groups have repeatedly targeted the positions of American forces in recent days.
