Iranian, Emirates Banks ink cooperation agreement

TEHRAN, Sept. 26 (MNA) – Iran’s Parsian Bank and Emirates Bank International on Tuesday, signed a switch connection agreement in Dubai.

Based on an agreement reached between Iran’s Parsian Bank and the United Arab Emirates Bank International, the two sides will be able to use their cash cards or debit cards for each other’s ATM (Automated Teller Machines), the Persian service of IRNA said on Tuesday.

 

Also, installation of some 10,000 POS (point of sale) machines of the United Arab Emirates Bank International and Emirates’ Islamic Bank of the Persian Gulf littoral state’s stores will facilitate purchases for Iranian shoppers in the sheikhdom.

 

Holders of such cards would also be able to withdraw cash from all Parsian Bank’s ATM machines as well as from over the 48,000 POS machines installed at a number of stores all over Iran.
