Khuzestan province, with its large wetlands such as Shadegan International Wetland, Hur al-Azim Wetland, Miangaran Wetland in Izeh and Bamadj Wetland, hosts thousands of birds every year.
TEHRAN, Oct. 10 (MNA) – Each year with the beginning of the cold season, the migratory birds fly a long distance to settle in Khuzestan province's wetlands, southern Iran to leave behind the cold.
