Iran’s amb. to Beirut meets with Lebanon's caretaker FM

TEHRAN, Oct. 20 (MNA) – Iranian Ambassador to Beirut met and held talks with Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Charbel Wehbe on Tuesday.

No statement over the details of the meeting has been issued yet.

Immediately after a devastating blast hit Beirut in early August, Iran’s Red Crescent Society (IRCS) begun sending food supplies and medical aid to Lebanon.

Iranian officials have voiced full readiness to provide all sorts of humanitarian assistance to Beirut.
