Abdullahi said Iran, compared to other Middle Eastern and African countries, has had the fastest economic growth over the past four years, adding that economic reforms, financial motivation, high prices of oil and improvements in the macro economy have encouraged investment in the country.
“Nevertheless, Iran’s economy faces many obstacles and job opportunities have failed to decrease the country’s soaring unemployment rate,” said Abdullahi, who represents Mahneshan in Majlis.
“Of course certain governmental plans in connection with creating job opportunities will boost the rate of employment in the following years.”
Abdullahi further said that Iran’s economy is capable of competing in international markets provided that certain reforms take place in its economic structure.
