Jahangiri greets Chinese PM on National Day

TEHRAN, Oct. 02 (MNA) – Iranian first VP Es’hagh Jahangiri has forwarded a message of congratulations to Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the founding of the East Asian country.

In his message forwarded on Monday, Iranian First Vice-President Es’hagh Jahangiri expressed hope that relations between the two countries would further expand, particularly in regard to economic cooperation, as well as regional and international issues.

He also prayed for the Chinese prime minister’s continued health and success, as well as the nation’s felicity and prosperity.

The People’s Republic of China celebrates National Day on October 1. The country was founded on September 21, 1949, followed byb a ceremony on the forming of the Central People's Government on October 1 that year.
