Before attending the Majlis inauguration ceremony, the President will attend a ceremony on August 3, in which he will receive his presidential precept from Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Hassan Rouhani overwhelmingly won the presidential election on May 19, sweeping 57% of the vote.
