President Hassan Rouhani congratulated his Romanian counterpart President Klaus Iohannis on the occasion of the national day of the Southeastern European country with wishes for expansion of bilateral ties. Here comes the full text of President Rouhani's message:

Dear Highness Mr. Klaus Iohannis,
The President of Romania,
I congratulate you, the government, and the people of Romania the occasion of the National Day of Romania.
I hope that with good history of relations and the current political will, we witness overgrowing development of bilateral ties in all areas of politics, economy, and culture.
I pray God the Almighty for the health and success for his highness and prosperity and pride for the people of that country.
The December 1, as a day that the Union of Transylvania with Romania was declared on in 1918 by the assembly of the delegates of ethnic Romanians held in Alba Iulia, is marked as the National Day in Romania with annual celebrations and proceedings. The day is called the Great Union Day and is a national holiday in the country. Military planes and helicopters fly over the Romanian capital city of Bucharest along with a military parade watched by senior officials of the country.
