North Khorasan trade delegation leaves for Georgia

TEHRAN, Nov. 01 (MNA) – Head of North Khorasan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Mohammad Samadi said 15 businessmen and traders of North Khorasan province left Iran for Georgia on Tuesday to follow up on previous travel deals and to expand trade ties.

During the 10-day visit, Samadi said Iran's trade and marketing delegation will negotiate with private and public companies to expand trade exchanges and the implementation of past trade agreements.

Visiting agricultural lands, mechanized agriculture, market studies and feasibility for the development of non-oil exports and trade exchanges are the other objectives of the delegation, Samadi noted.

He added that the members will meet with Iran's Chamber of Commerce in Georgia, Tbilisi Chamber of Commerce, and Ministry of Agriculture; they will also visit the country's agricultural lands.

North Khorasan trade and marketing delegation also paid a visit to Georgia in September this year to make trade and joint ventures in the country, which resulted in the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding.
