Future path bright for Syrians

TEHRAN, Mar. 15 (MNA) – Receiving Syrian Deputy FM Faisal Miqdad on Tuesday in Tehran, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Larijani assured bright future for Syria.

"We hope that the resistance front will stay by the Syrian nation till reaching tranquility and security," said Ali Larijani, the speaker of Iran’s Parliament in Tehran on Tuesday.

The official made the remark in his meeting with Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad.

Reaffirming that the Islamic Republic of Iran will stand by the Syrian nation, Larijani described the current situation very sensitive and said that the Syrian nation is a patient nation who is reaching the end of the crisis thanks to its resistance and stance.  

During the same meeting, Miqdad offered greetings to Iranian top MP for successful running of the two democratic elections in late February, wishing that the new Parliament will be a new source of merit and benefit for Iranian nation

Touching upon the latest ceasefire established in Syria, the Syrian diplomat voiced hope that the truce will lead to peace and tranquility for Syrians who are to cast vote in the forthcoming election of the Arab country.

We hope that Syrians will get at the ballot boxes in the coming election of Syria to decide the fate of their country in peace, said Faisal Miqdad.  

Syria shares almost all the approaches of the Islamic Republic of Iran toward the political issues of the region, said Miqdad hoping that the other states of the region be sharp-minded about the Syrian crisis and the fight against terrorism.   

The Syrian diplomat added that in Geneva talks some issues matters the most to the Syrian government; among them the territorial integration of Syria, consideration of social texture of the country and stance against terrorists.

He also offered gratitude for all the support provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
