Diplomat in Ljubljana to hold talks with Slovenian officials

TEHRAN, Dec. 16 (MNA) – Iranian deputy FM Majid Takht Ravanchi has arrived in Ljubljana on Wed. for a two-day official visit and consultations with Slovenian officials.

Following his European tour, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe and America Majid Takht Ravanchi arrived in Slovenia today to hold talks with his Slovenian counterpart and a number of other political and parliamentary officials on the latest status of the two countries’ relations and various ways to expand cooperation in political, parliamentary, economic, and cultural fields.

The Iranian diplomat is also scheduled to hold talks with economic figures from state and private sectors on promotion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Conferring on regional and international developments is also on Takht Ravanchi’s agenda for this two-day visit.

Prior to this visit, the Iranian deputy minister had visited the Czech Republic and held talks with his Czech counterpart Martin Tlapa on bilateral, regional and international issues.
