The play, staged by Barish Theatre group from the northwestern city of Maragheh, was acclaimed by the audience and experts.
Shadows and the Wind made its international premier with its performance on Thursday, December 3, in Minsk’s BSU hall.
The cast included Hadi Eftekhar Zadeh, Maryam Boromand Motlagh, Saeed Boromand Motlagh, Reza Mohamamdi, Sonia Mabodi, Farid Ahadi, Saeed Elmi and Mobina Rouhi.
Held in Minsk from 29 November - 6 December, Teatralny Kufar is the only Belarusian international festival of student theatre and one of the most influential youth theatre forums in Eastern Europe. It is a transnational platform that unites talented and active young people from around the world.
In the 2014 edition of the festival Iran’s Sheno Ghaderi, Papion Theatre Group, was nominated for the Best Actress award for her performance in The Chairs.
