Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for London on Monday in the evening after being officially invited by British Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
War on terrorism and extremism, the refugee crisis, humanitarian affairs, and some other regional issues are among issues on the agenda of bilateral talks between Iranian and British diplomats.
This is the first official visit of an Iranian delegation after the reopening of the embassies in Tehran and London in last month.
Deputy FM Daneshyazdi headed last month’s Iranian delegation to reopen Islamic Republic’s embassy to London.
