DAMASCUS, Oct. 08 (MNA) – Four Navy warships of the Russian fleet in the Caspian Sea fired a total of 26 missiles to 11 targets of the ISIL in Syria.

The news was confirmed on Wednesday in Damascus, after the Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu gave statements to the agency RIA Novosti explaining the surprising use of warships located more than a thousand kilometers away.

The Russian high command's report highlighted the high effectiveness of the long-range missiles that can hit 1,500km from where they are launched.

For his part, Syrian military sources gave details to reporters about the impact of this attack from the sea against terrorist targets in the provinces of Raqqa, Aleppo and Idleb.

Bombings with the 26 missiles have destroyed a command headquarters of the armed groups, an explosives factory, depots of arms, ammunition and fuel, and a training camp, according to official sources.
