Iran to participate in Beijing Int'l Book Fair

TEHRAN, Aug. 23 (MNA) – The Institute for Cultural Exhibitions will represent Iran in the 22nd Beijing International Book Fair on August 26-30.

Managing director of the institute, Amir Masoud Shaharam-Nia said that Iran's pavilion will present 329 titles of books in the fields of arts, religion, literature, Persian language education and Iranian studies.

Arrangements have also been made for presence of other Iranian publishers such as Al-Mostafa University and Al-Hoda, he said.

Of the books to go on display, 200 are in English, 67 in Chinese, 22 in Arabic and 39 in Persian languages, Shahram-Nia said.

Introducing Tehran International Book Fair, inviting publishers to attend the 29th event and holding meeting with heads of other book fairs are among the programs of the Institute for Cultural Exhibitions in the upcoming cultural event, he said.

A book titled "Iran" in Chinese language featuring Iranian capacities and cultural attractions will be unveiled in Iran's pavilion, the official said.
