MPs call for holding missile drills

TEHRAN, Aug. 10 (MNA) — Iranian parliamentarians are collecting signatures to urge Army to hold a missile drill.

In a statement to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and as a ‘reminder’ to President Rouhani, a number of parliamentarians have called for ballistic missiles maneuver to be held as soon as possible.

Some Principlist MPs were inviting other Parliamentarians to sign the statement in today’s session.

In recent weeks, different groups of people, students, political and military experts, have warned against any limitations on Iran’s defense and deterrence program and urged military war games, especially missile drills in near future.
