French aviation delegation due in Iran

TEHRAN, Jul. 26 (MNA) – Acting head of Civil Aviation Organization announced the upcoming visit of a French Civil Aviation Organization delegation to Iran.

The due visit is scheduled to include talks over increasing the weekly flights between Tehran and Paris from current 3 to 10 per week in the future, Mohammad Khodakarami said.

He also announced increases in international flights from Iran to UK, France, Germany, Russia and Turkey.

Elaborating on German flights, Khodakarami said that currently there were 14 weekly flights from Iran to Germany, which should be raised because of rising demands.

Concerning Russia, the official pointed to 7 weekly flights to Russia, calling for an increase to 28 which is in line with increasing needs.

Pointing to the rise in flights between Iran and Italy, he said the two countries will hold talks to increase the current number which is 4 flights per week.

"The number of flights between Iran and Turkey is 70 which would increase to 100 in near future," Khoda-Karami added.
