No military sites inspections: Velayati

TEHRAN, Jul. 25 (MNA) – The Head of Expediency Council Strategic Research Center Ali-Akbar Velayati said Iran would not allow inspections into its military sites by IAEA or any other organizations.

"Iran will reserve all rights regarding its military centers," Velayati told Al Jazeera in an interview on Friday.

"Regardless of 5+1 countries interpretation, Iran has always clearly said that it prohibits any inspection of military bases by IAEA or any other institutions."

Velayati also pointed to brotherly relations between Iran and Iraq, and noted that Iran's supportive activities have been at Baghdad's official request from Tehran. "Iraq is our friend, and we accepted their request for help," Velayati underlined.

Pointing to Saudi attack on Yemen, Velayati stressed that Yemen could overcome its domestic problem through political dialogue.

He noted that the Islamic world should stand against any conspiracy of hostile foreign countries through unity to block conspiracies and interventions of the Zionist regime.
