Kyrgyzstan welcomes Iran's full membership in SCO

TEHRAN, Jul. 07 (MNA) – Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev on Tuesday voiced his country's full support for Iran's full membership in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Speaking to local media, he hailed joining of Iran, India and Pakistan as full members of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will leave Tehran for Russia on Thursday to attend Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Summits upon an invitation from his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Russia and China have supported the decision that Iran be granted full-membership of the forum which was formed in 2001.
