The Statute of AIIB was signed on Monday in the presence of ministers and senior economic officials of 57 world countries.
The first Memorandum of Understanding to establish AIIB was signed in October 2014 in Beijing by participation of 27 countries and primary capital of 100 billion dollars for investment.
Iran, as a founding member of AIIB, joined officially the AIIB on April 2015 as the 34th member. AIIB is initiated by China and 50 percent of its share belongs to the country.
Among member countries of AIIB are Iran, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Laos, Luxemburg, Maldives, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Philippine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Britain, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Spain.
