Iran, Czech ink double taxation avoidance deal

TEHRAN, May. 03 (MNA) – Iran and the Czech Republic signed a double taxation avoidance agreement in a bid to give a boost to the bilateral trade.

Iranian Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Ali Tayyebnia and Czech Republic’s Finance Minister Andrej Babis signed a double taxation avoidance agreement in the Czech capital city of Prague.  

Following the sign of a double taxation avoidance agreement, Iran’s Minister of Economic & Finance Affairs Ali Tayyebnia said the companies in Iran and Czech Republic can take advantage of the agreement since its main purpose is to avoid taxation of income and to promote and foster economic trade and investment between the two countries.

Tayyebnia expressed hope for expansion of trade and economic ties between Tehran and Prague, stressing that the two states had discussed ways to expand cooperation in automotive and railway industries.
